Most awaited long weekend is almost here and everyone is waiting for the 2nd of December for a spectacular celebration of 46 years since the UAE’s six emirates united. Dubai will come alive with so many events across the city, festivities, parties and awesome fireworks displays.
Check out here the spots in Dubai where you can catch the dazzling fireworks show this year.
La Mer
This recently opened spot has transformed the beachfront in Jumeirah 1 into a shiny new seaside destination complete with 130 shops and restaurants plus play areas for the little ones. For National Day, they will be putting on their first fireworks show on Friday, December 1. You don’t want to miss this one. The timing for the fireworks spectacle will be 9.30 pm on Friday, 1st of December.

Global Village
Global Village, one of the most popular attractions puts on a bi-weekly fireworks display every Thursday and Friday from 9 pm. But this time it will be a BIGGER show for 3 days. Global Village guests will enjoy firework displays that will carry the colors of the UAE flag and reach a height of 200 meters. The display will be accompanied by a variety of musical presentations as it lights up the skies for five minutes.

The Beach, JBR
Get down to The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence and mark your spot early as it is going to be just AMAZING! JBR will host its annual fireworks display at 9.30 pm on 2nd December, Saturday.

Dubai Festival City
Dubai Festival city is known for its incredible festivities and this time it won’t be any different. For its 46th National Day celebrations, Dubai Festival City Mall will host a series of events at Festival Bay from 1.30pm in the afternoon till 11.15pm, including a fly-past by Al Fursan, spectacular aerobatics, fireworks and a special edition Imagine show celebrating Emirati culture. National Day festivities will continue through the evening, with captivating Ayala dance performances and live Jet Pack stunt shows. Traffic and parking can be hard if you don’t start early.

Riverland Dubai
Dubai Parks and Resorts will also host their fireworks show at Riverland on December 1 and 2, along with a free concert and other entertainment. General parking which usually costs Dh20 will be free after 6.30pm on December 2. Yet another reason to go!

Also, Don’t miss the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa draped in UAE’s national colors.
