The first 4D museum in India, Vande Mataram Memorial, is a unique national monument dedicated to the journey of Indian Independence. The Memorial is built near Hiralaxmi Craft Park at Bhuj – Kutch adding one more momentum to Gujarat Tourism. Spread over 12 acres of land, it aims to immortalize the most historic episodes in India’s freedom struggle with British Rule.

This Memorial is a non- profit initiative of the Ashapura Foundation, which is a CSR activity of Ashapura Group of Industries. The primary structure of the museum admeasures about 100,000 sq. ft. and has been modeled similarly to the Indian Parliament Building. Its secondary structure of 50,000 sq. ft. has been modeled on the Red Fort which houses the Gandhi Ashram, Auditorium, Gallery, Library and a food court. The Memorial has an interactive combination of sets, true scale models, life-size mannequins, paintings & 4 D audio-visual special effects. An interesting fact about the memorial is that the stones used to construct the building of the Memorial have been sourced from the same quarry from where India’s Sansad Bhavan was built. This is a unique national monument, perhaps the only kind in the world.

Vande Mataram is a once-in-lifetime and a must-do experience for every Indian who is keen to reconnect with his roots and who seeks to renew and restore his sense of national pride and belonging.

The Memorial honors the legacies of our freedom fighters such as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey, Jawaharlal Nehru and our Bapu Ji, all through a series of episodes that combine synchronized special effects, art and architecture to make it a truly spellbinding experience. 17 crucial episodes of India’s freedom struggle have been demonstrated brilliantly.

The memorial has become a favorite destination for its locals and many tourists are also attracted towards it. Soon it will be ranked as one of the must-visit  places in Gujarat. If you are on your Kutch journey don’t forget to visit here for an outstanding experience.
